Springtime

Image
San Francisco (California, USA), October 2019 Early air in a Springtime afternoon, intense fragrance of life in motion. Introspection: thinking about what once was and is no more, about what went away, though still weighs on. To breathe the fertile solitude which lets beat the wings of the perpetual dialog between heart and brain. A push for life, a start into Spring: Force for a new beginning without burdens, nor hatred, nor blame.

A Summary

Image
Norreofjord, Norway, August 2015   At the beginning: coming into life to doting parents, to loving siblings, finding myself in a sheltered place; feeling safe, secure, loved. Time to move away, up to a new start. A new beginning: finding my place in life, changing places, changing countries, changing languages, founding my own family, wife, kid, feeling once again safe, secure, loved. Until everything shatters: up then again to a new start. A different beginning, finding my place in a new world, starting a different family, while trying to keep my bond to parents, siblings, kid in this new life of mine with this love so fresh. Feeling safe, secure, loved until all of a sudden the rug got pulled from under my feet. Up once more to a new start. A lonely beginning: picking up the scattered pieces of another world crashed down, rebuilding my life in this setting. Learning again to stand on my feet, to be, to live, to accept, to feel again safe, secure, loved, this time, though, on my own.

Alone

Image
Platja de Puçol (València, Spain), March 2021 Breathing without sharing spirit nor courage, being whole not needing nothing or no one. Being able to paint with words, to color with feelings each and every day which I fill with life. Feeling the air, the warmth, the breeze; swelling with nature, shaping my soul by making out of loneliness both virtue and driving force. Alone, never lonely.

Mist

Pacific Coast Highway, California (USA), September 2019 Mist in the sky, Feeling, not seeing. Guessing, not knowing. Discerning what is, what comes, what is meant to be. Mist, mystery, elusive light, a visual paradox.
