I am thankful for being alive, for being able to breathe and move on my own; I am thankful, too, for having a roof over my head, for being able to lead my life by myself. I am thankful for every single person in my life, for my family, both given and chosen; I am thankful, too, for those relatives who decided to severe ties with me: my special thanks to you all for every single thing I lived, I learned, I went through with you. I am thankful for earning my living doing something I love; I am thankful, too, for the inspiration that lets me paint my feelings with words. A day to be thankful, a day, too, of closure; life goes on, let us just live on being led by this special compass that points to the heart and soul, that makes us be assured of giving and receiving the very special gift of love.
