Phases

Puçol (València, Spain), May 2020

This strange Spring
full of clean air,
no noise in the streets,
seemingly no haste either,
after an enforced retreat
everything looks renewed.
Skies look bluer,
crystal clear views,
neat colors and smells
invite and encourage
walking to contemplate
life reborn.
From my window,
from my walking solitude,
I greet nature,
which displays its arsenal
of beauty and new life,
and I dream.
I dream of a hug,
of the peace in a solitude
which is sought after, not forced upon.
I dream of the next phase
with my feet well grounded,
anchored in the one I am living now.
